Strategic Plan

2025-2029

The Imaging Sciences Strategic Plan at University of Rochester Medicine outlines how we will advance patient care, innovation, and community health over the next five years. Built on collaboration and rapid growth, this plan defines how we turn leading-edge imaging into better outcomes for the people we serve.

A Foundation of Growth and Innovation

From 2020 to 2025, the Department of Imaging Sciences doubled its study volume and expanded its team to meet growing demand. Today, we deliver advanced imaging services—including MRI, CT, mammography, and theranostics—while leading the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) to improve accuracy, speed, and patient comfort.

This momentum positions us to move forward with purpose.
