MMRC Travel Award Announcement
The Mitochondrial and Metabolic Research Center (MMRC) is dedicated to raising awareness and supporting the outstanding mitochondrial and metabolic research at URMC. As part of this mission, the MMRC will provide travel reimbursement of up to $750 to approximately ten trainees to attend the 2026 Translational Research in Mitochondria/Metabolism, Aging, and Disease (TRiMAD) Conference.

How to Apply for the MMRC Travel Award
- Submit your abstract to andrew_wojtovich@urmc.rochester.edu by Monday, August 31, 2026.
- Awardees will be notified by September 10, 2026.
Awardee Requirements
- Register for the conference during the early-bird registration period.
- Submit an abstract to TRiMAD.
- Attend conference events.
- Present your research as either a poster or an oral presentation.
- Awardees will be reimbursed ($750 maximum) for conference expenses.
