UR Medicine's Division of Breastfeeding & Lactation Medicine seeks to help families who have difficulty with breastfeeding, while also educating providers, trainees, and employees on ways to better serve our patients. We are one of the leading breastfeeding programs in upstate New York.

We offer consultations before and after birth to help you plan, work through problems, and meet your breastfeeding goals. You will have one-on-one consultations with board-certified lactation consultants and breastfeeding medicine providers who have many years of experience.
