Virtual Health Stations
Bringing Telehealth Care to Your Community!
Overview
UR Medicine is partnering with local establishments throughout the region to bring quick and connected access to essential health tools in communities near you.
Introducing: Virtual Health Stations
Higi Smart Health Stations measure key health indicators including blood pressure, pulse, and weight.
This enables patients to monitor and track key health measures, catching problems early and improving long-term health of our communities.
Patients will be able to use the Health Stations to connect directly with UR Medicine providers via our telehealth service, Virtual Urgent Care, for common, non-emergent conditions.
Where Can I Find One?
Located in secure, private spaces within select locations during regular business hours, the stations are designed to make access to healthcare easier and more convenient.
UR Medicine's Approach
How They Work
Establish Your Baseline: Use the health stations to measure vital indicators like blood pressure, weight, and other key health conditions. This baseline will help you understand your health status and guide you on the next steps to improve your well-being.
Connect with UR Medicine Providers: Need medical advice for common, non-emergent conditions? The Health Stations allow patients to directly connect with a UR Medicine provider via our telehealth service, Virtual Urgent Care. Conditions include but are not limited to abdominal pain, allergies, cough, sore throat, and more.
Symptom Guide at Your Fingertips: Unsure about your symptoms? Look for a message from URMC on the top screen of the station. When it pops up, scan the QR code on the health station to access a handy Symptom Guide for quick reference to see the where you should get care.
