Urgent Care
To get the best care, come to the right place
Overview
UR Medicine Urgent Care provides you the care you need—and quickly—from Rochester's top-ranked health care network. Our Urgent Care locations are the right choice for any illness or injury that requires care within 24 hours, as well as conditions that are not life-threatening.
You can walk into any of our many locations without an appointment. And while Urgent Care is not open 24/7 like our emergency room, most patients are seen and treated within an hour. On site labs and imaging services (X-ray only) make for speedy diagnosis, so you never have to wait to find out if that sore throat is really strep.
Times may vary depending on the number of patients at the center and the type of injuries or illnesses. If you need tests such as imaging services (X-ray only) or labs, it may require extra time.
On My Way
When you use “On My Way,” it tells us you’re coming to Urgent Care so we can reduce your wait time and better prepare for your visit. Please note that wait times are based on our best estimate, and we need to see patients based on the severity of their illness. Using “On My Way” doesn’t guarantee a scheduled time slot you’ll be seen, but will ensure important information is documented along with your arrival.

UR Medicine's Approach
Urgent Care is here to support, not replace, care from your regular doctor. In addition to our general Urgent Care locations, we also offer Orthopaedic Urgent Care for sprains, strains, fractures, sports injuries, or broken bones.
UR Medicine Urgent Care provides care to everyone, and you do not need to be a UR Medicine patient to be seen. If you are a UR Medicine patient, your electronic medical record will be updated automatically. If you aren't a UR Medicine patient, we will send a report to your primary care physician.

What Sets Us Apart?
UR Medicine Urgent Care is brought to you by the region's trusted experts in emergency care. We are staffed by board certified physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, skilled nurses and radiology technicians, who are all dedicated to providing the highest quality medical care with compassion and respect.
Our providers are also supported by the area's most advanced medical records system. As a result, they are able to track health issues more effectively and contact you when needed—for example, when you are overdue for a mammogram or a colonoscopy. With these people and systems in place, we are making it possible for our care providers to spend more time with patients.
This approach is also helping us to attract the best and brightest providers—providers who are excited about the opportunity to have a bigger impact on the health of their patients.

The locations below are considered outpatient hospital departments. Because of that, you may receive two separate bills for your care—one from the hospital and one from your provider.
