Neuroendovascular CAST Fellowship

How to Apply

All applications must go through the formal Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) and the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) process, following the requirements set by the Committee on Advanced Subspecialty Training (CAST).

Applicants should submit the following:

  • Curriculum Vitae
  • Personal statement
  • USMLE/COMLEX score report
  • Verification of completion of residency or letter certifying expecting residency graduation in good standing on specified date.
  • Certified copy of currently valid ECFMG certificate (applicable for international medical graduates only)
  • 3 letters of recommendation from residency program as follows: 
    1. 1 from Neurosurgery department chair
    2. 1 from Neurosurgery residency director
    3. 1 from Endovascular Neurosurgery division chief

Requirements:

US citizens: 

  • Satisfactory completion of a 7-year ACGME-certified Neurosurgery residency.
  • Successful attainment of a NY state medical license.

Non US citizens:

  • Satisfactory completion of an international Neurosurgery residency.
  • Successful attainment of a NY state medical license.
  • Successful attainment of H-1B Visa
