Noyes Health Celebrates Nephrology Nurses Week September 14th – 20th!

Wednesday, September 17, 2014

The week of September 14th – 20th has been designated by the American Nephrology Nurses Association (ANNA) as Nephrology Nurses Week. Nephrology nurses care for patients with kidney disease and provide lifesaving care each day. This year's theme is "Nephrology Nurses- Special Treasures".

Nephrology nurses use their vision, knowledge and skills to take action and improve patient outcomes as they make a positive difference in the lives of patients and
their families every day. Caring for kidney patients requires nurses to be skilled, well educated, and motivated, and nephrology nurses cite the variety and challenges of the
specialty as fueling their ongoing passion.

The Noyes Health Kidney Disease and Dialysis Center located in Geneseo opened six years ago with the support of past Livingston County Administrator, Nick Mazza and the Livingston County Board of Supervisors. The facility and medical staff serve a need in the region to provide quality care while keeping patients close to home when dealing with kidney disease.

Thank you to all of our nephrology nurses and support staff at the Kidney Disease and Dialysis Center in Geneseo for the great work you do in caring for the patients in our community!
