Genitourinary Pathology Fellowship
Genitourinary Pathology Fellowship
The one-year fellowship in Genitourinary Pathology provides in-depth clinical, research, teaching, and communication skills needed to become an expert in genitourinary pathology.
Training focuses on advanced diagnostic skills through the evaluation and sign-out of biopsy, resection, and consultation cases, assessment of complex surgical specimens under faculty supervision, and participation in multidisciplinary genitourinary oncology conferences. Fellows gain a strong understanding of the clinical significance of pathologic diagnoses in the management of neoplastic and non-neoplastic diseases and have opportunities to pursue clinical and translational research tailored to their interests. Additional experiences include elective rotations in other surgical pathology subspecialties and frozen section services.
Through a structured curriculum emphasizing diagnostic excellence, education, research, and patient care, the program prepares fellows for successful independent practice and leadership in the field.
