About the Event
Each spring, the University of Rochester Medical Center joins healthcare institutions across the U.S. to celebrate National Medical Laboratory Professionals Week to promote and recognize the work of licensed lab professionals.
The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine hosts events for staff and members of the public to showcase the behind-the-scenes work of our dedicated staff, from phlebotomists to couriers to licensed medical technologists who together process more than 7.8 million patient lab tests each year.
