Dr. Christie earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry (URSMD). He completed a family medicine residency training program and an HIV/Family Systems fellowship from the University of Rochester/Highland Hospital.

Dr. Christie earned his medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry (URSMD). He completed a family medicine residency training program and an HIV/Family Systems fellowship from the University of Rochester/Highland Hospital.

He served as the medical director of the Community Health Network in Rochester, and later as a staff physician when the organization was re-named to the AIDS Community Health Center.

Prior to these appointments, Dr. Christie served as an associate clerkship director in the predoctoral division of the Department of Family Medicine at URSMD. He is also a former urgent care physician in the After Hours Medical Care Program at Folsom Medical Center.

The physician has been a sub-investigator on a wide array of research projects related to the management of HIV.

Dr. Christie has authored or co-authored many articles and publications, including ""Primary Care Physicians' Emotional Responses to Death and Dying in HIV Patients, published in the Journal of the University of Rochester Medical Center; ""Understanding Fear of Contagion Among Physicians Who Care For HIV Patients, in Family Medicine; and ""Primary Care of Patients with Human Immunodeficiency Virus Infection: The Physician's Perspective, in Archives of Family Medicine. In its role as one of New York State's federally qualified health centers, the Anthony L. Jordan Health Center helps minimize illness, manage chronic conditions and reduce the need for avoidable, costlier care such as emergency room visits. The health center is a member of the Community Health Care Association of New York State. Accredited by the Joint Commission, the Anthony L. Jordan Health Center receives funding from the Health Resources and Services Administration of the Department of Health and Human Services to provide sliding fee scale discount primary care services to medically underserved and uninsured patients.
