I grew up in Erie, PA and went to medical school at the University of Florida. I completed neurology residency and a fellowship in cognitive and behavioral neurology at the University of Rochester Medical Center. After training, I moved to Penn State Hershey where I created and ran the Penn State Hershey Memory and Cognitive Disorders program. I then moved back to Rochester and took on the role of medical director Memory Center at Unity and Chair of Neurology at Unity Hospital. Following this, I returned to the University of Rochester Medical Center to run the division of cognitive and behavioral neurology. At the University of Rochester Medical Center, I am pleased to work with a group of clinicians dedicated to the care of patients in our community who have memory and cognitive disorders. I also work closely with the Rochester and Finger Lakes Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and Lifespan to provide support for patients and caregivers in our area.

Dr. Gill is an extraordinary physician. I felt comfortable and at ease with him immediately,Something I had not experienced in the past with other doctors. I came with my husband and daughter and Dr. Gill welcomed them and their questions. The most important thing for me was how detailed and informative he was about my condition. He took time to explain the pros and cons of various medications that might be used to treat my condition. As soon as I have decided on route I'd like to take with the meds, I will call him to discuss it. He has already called me to see if I had questions to date. I am very impressed with the depth of his knowledge and I certainly feel confident in putting my trust and future wellbeing in his hands. I will recommend Dr. Gill to anyone who asks me if I know a good neurologist, for sure!I'm very happy to have had the opportunity to take this survey, thank you, [...]
