Dr. Shafiq received her medical education from Khyber Medical College, Pakistan. She completed Internal medicine residency training at Catholic Health System, University of Buffalo, NY. She then completed fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism here at the University of Rochester. In he...
Dr. Shafiq received her medical education from Khyber Medical College, Pakistan. She completed Internal medicine residency training at Catholic Health System, University of Buffalo, NY. She then completed fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism here at the University of Rochester. In her current role as clinical director of the Multi-disciplinary Pituitary clinic, Dr. Shafiq's primary focus is Pituitary disease and bringing state of the art care to patients with pituitary disorders. Dr. Shafiq is also interested in thyroid disease, specifically, thyroid ultrasounds and ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration.
