Dr. Abayon has been part of the EIOH faculty since 2010,and is currently the program director of the General Practice Residency Program. She provides patient care, supervises residents in the clinic, directs the Clinical Dentistry seminar series, and is involved in research and scholarship activities.

Dr. Abayon also serves as the Secretary of the Section on Graduate and Postgraduate Education at the American Dental Education Association.
