The Department of Oral and Craniofacial Science is a multidisciplinary research department within EIOH. Home to five major research laboratories, projects range from clinical research in the different specialties to oral microbiology, salivary research, and oral pain. The EIOH Clinical and Translational Research Core empowers and engages EIOH faculty and residents to participate in clinical and translational research projects to help deliver improved patient care.

Patient Education & Support
All new patients must schedule a patient exam. You will need a photo ID, insurance card, list of medications you are currently taking, and the phone number of your medical doctor. You will be asked to complete a patient registration form and medical and dental history forms. Your first appointment is an exam only, consisting of an evaluation of your teeth, gums and mouth. Based on this evaluation, x-rays may need to be taken. No dental treatment is provided during this exam.
For emergencies, we strongly encourage patients call (585) 275-5051 to determine the best time to come. Mondays and Fridays tend to be our busiest days. Longer on-hold and wait times are possible, and we thank you for your patience.
