About Me
Professional Background
Dr. Dony as a pulmonary critical care doctor attends on critically ill patients in the medical intensive care unit at both Strong Memorial Hospital and Highland Hospital. She also spends time as a pulmonary consultant for inpatients at both institutions. In the outpatient setting she concentrates primarily on the evaluation and diagnosis of lung nodules and masses via advanced bronchoscopy. She also has an interest in pleural disease and in particular, malignant pleural disease management. The placement of chronic indwelling catheters with the goal of palliating symptoms and improving quality of life for patients with recurrent malignant effusions related to their cancer is an area of focus.
