About Me

Dr. Tarolli graduated from Syracuse University in 2007 and received his MD from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in 2012. He completed his internship in internal medicine and residency in neurology at the University of Rochester Medical Center and graduated in 2016. Dr. Tarolli completed a fellows...
Dr. Tarolli graduated from Syracuse University in 2007 and received his MD from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine in 2012. He completed his internship in internal medicine and residency in neurology at the University of Rochester Medical Center and graduated in 2016. Dr. Tarolli completed a fellowship in movement disorders and experimental therapeutics of neurological disease in 2018. He joined the faculty in 2018 and specializes in the care of individuals with Parkinson disease, atypical parkinsonian syndromes, and Huntington disease.

Beyond clinical work, Dr. Tarolli is a neurological educator and obtained a Masters of Science in Health Professions Education from the Warner School at the University of Rochester. He is the Director of the Mind, Brain, Behavior neuroscience course at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and Associate Program Director of the Adult Neurology Residency Program. He is also involved in clinical research focusing on novel technologies, practice-based research, and palliative care in individuals with Parkinson disease and other movement disorders.

Dr. Tarolli is a calm and excellent provider who listens carefully to what I say. He is caring and careful to be sure you understand the rationale behind additional treatment. He also always mentions to contact him if other concerns come up and never ends a meeting without asking Is there anything else you want to discuss .
