Dr. Mongiovi is one of the best doctors I have ever had! He asks me how I am doing and actually listens and believes what I say. He asks me what I know about my disease or the treatment options and then goes into more detail if necessary which means we don't have to waste time on him explaining things I already know and shows he values my knowledge on my disease. He explains multiple treatment options and we evaluate together what the best option for me would be both medically and for my life. He cares about my symptoms and how they affect my activities of daily living and helps me to find ways I can still work and do other things I want to do. His visit notes are very thorough and available very quickly on My Chart so if I forget something we talked about, it is available for me to reference. Since my disease is rare and I have gotten involved in support groups, I have already recommended him to others with my disease. Dr. Mongiovi is outstanding!
