Dr. Pruett is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine. Originally from Connecticut, she received her medical degree from Oregon Health & Science University. She completed her residency training at McKay-Dee Hospital Family Medicine Residency, in Ogden, UT. She then completed the University of Rochester Maternal Child Health Fellowship and joined the family medicine faculty in 2017. In addition to focusing on her clinical practice at Highland Family Medicine, she also serves as attending on the inpatient service several weeks per year. She has a strong interest in medical education, teaching residents and medical students. Dr. Pruett, her husband, and 2 children love living in Rochester. They can frequently be found exploring the parks, playgrounds, splash pads, and museums in the area.

I didn't feel that I left with any more information than I came in with. When I followed up on one issue, I was told "You should wait more and then go to the doctor about that." But I already had done both, and it wasn't clear how to escalate the problem or what the next step would be.
