Megan is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned a Master of Science in Nursing from St. John Fisher University in 2014 and is currently completing a Master of Science in Medical Management at University of Rochester Simon Business School. Megan began her Nurse Practitioner career in the Emergency Department at Highland Hospital, where she practiced for five years before joining University of Rochester Medicine’s Advanced Heart Failure Program in 2018. Megan currently serves as the Lead Clinical Advanced Practice Provider for Heart Failure and Heart Transplant, caring for patients with advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, heart transplantation, and complex cardiovascular disease.

Megan is passionate about improving access to care for underserved and medically complex patients, with a particular interest in infiltrative cardiomyopathies, multidisciplinary care, and developing innovative models that improve patient outcomes. She strives to combine clinical expertise with healthcare leadership to advance care delivery for patients with advanced cardiovascular disease. Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with her husband, Eric, and their three young sons. She loves camping in the Adirondacks, exploring the outdoors, and making memories together as a family.
