Aspen Ainsworth, MD is an assistant professor of psychiatry at URMC. She is board certified in Adult Psychiatry and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. She earned her Masters of Science in Biology at SUNY Geneseo. She completed general psychiatry residency and fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, the subspecialty which provides psychiatric care to patients with acute medical illness, at the University of Rochester. She is the lead psychiatrist on the inpatient Medicine in Psychiatry Service (med-psych unit) and the Fellowship program director of the URMC Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Fellowship Program. Professional interests include proactive integrated psychiatry and med-psych units, perinatal psychiatry, ethics, and education.
