Lindsay has a robust background that now spans over 2 decades. In her early years she spent over 6 years, as an EMT, in Emergency Medical Services. After graduating from Saint Joseph's Nursing College, she relocated to Washington state where she worked in a mixed ICU for 3 years. While in Washington she obtained her BSN. She then spent 3 years as a travel nurse working at some of the most prestigious facility's in the nation. She returned to her hometown in 2013 where she worked as a flight nurse in upstate New York for 2 years before returning back to School to get her NP. While in school she worked as a SWAT nurse at SUNY Upstate, where she responded to emergencies and assisted with throughput. Lindsay now has 5 years clinical experience as a cardiac surgery Nurse Practitioner at Strong Memorial Hospital where she has the honor of taking care of some of the areas sickest individuals. In her time at Strong Memorial she has focused on assisting with orienting new graduates and new employees. IN addition she is currently working on an Fd02 V-A ECMO wean protocol, and is an active volunteer with AACN. She has presented at local nursing retreats and has clinical interests in spirituality at end of life. In her free time she enjoys rock climbing, working out and walking with her dog Theo
