Professional Background
Dr Hussain has continued to educate and supervise 2nd year fellows, PGY5 residents, from the ACGME fellowship program in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at University of Rochester Medical Center in the RTF setting at Hillside as a senior psychiatrist. Providing invaluable experience to understand the complexities and nuances of psychiatric care at different myriad of level of care available in the community under variety of regulations by different entities.
Dr. Hussain received her medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College and completed her Psychiatry residency at University of Rochester Medical Center, Rochester, NY in 2003. Dr. Hussain completed her fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at University of Rochester School of Medicine in 2005. She is board certified in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry from ABPN. Her professional interests and passion include education, teaching, integrated physical and psychiatric health, and family work.
