Kara brings 8 years of experience caring for pediatric and adult patients with complex health conditions. She obtained her FNP with the specialized interest in the transition of pediatric patients to adult care when they have complex medical histories.
Kara establishes trust by listening to her patients and crafting care plans that meet her patients' needs with their input. She values relationships and utilizes the resources at the Complex Care Center to provide the best access for improved outcomes.
With experience in both the inpatient and outpatient realms as well as understanding the community systems available, she is able to provide best possible care for patients with many different complex issues.
She obtained her education from the College at Brockport for her undergraduate degree and D’Youville College in Buffalo for her FNP. When not caring for patients, Kara enjoys spending time with her family, volunteering at her kids’ elementary school, attending their sporting events, hiking, fishing, cooking, baking, reading and traveling.
