About Me
Area of Expertise
• Breast Cancer
• Benign Breast Disease
• Breast and Axillary Surgery
Area of Special Interest
• Surgery after Neoadjuvant Systemic Therapy
• Patients with an Inherited Risk of Developing Breast Cancer
I chose Breast Surgery as my specialty because breast cancer patients are inspiring – they are beaming with hope for themselves, as well as for other breast cancer patients who may come after them. This means that patients join clinical trials, for example, and try to make breast cancer care better for the world. It’s extremely rewarding to care for such engaged, hopeful patients.
My approach to patient care is based on shared decision-making, meaning I do my best to explain everything in a way each patient can understand and be wholly involved in their treatment decisions.
I was born and raised in Syracuse NY, and my entire family still resides there. In addition, my family traditionally spent every holiday season visiting my godparents in Henrietta! I am truly excited for this homecoming, and to serve the community that helped make me who I am today.

URMC partners with Press Ganey, to survey our patients about all aspects of their care experience. We are now putting this pertinent information at your fingertips by displaying star ratings for our providers along with anonymous patient comments on our website.
