William Hardy, DO is a Senior Instructor in the department of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He recently completed his residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Rochester Medical Center, after he attended Touro College of Medicine in Harlem, NY. During his training he found adult patients with chronic pediatric disease had difficulty accessing appropriate medical care, leading to his interest in a career at the Complex Care Center. He has a passion for providing better care for patients with Sickle Cell Disease, both in and out of the hospital, as well as working with pediatric cancer survivors as they progress into adulthood. He is excited to join the Complex Care Center team as a physician both in the clinic, and in the hospital. Outside of work you may find him at one of the many parks or breweries in Rochester with his dog/fur child Roxie.
