Julia Jacobson is a Family Nurse Practitioner with ANCC Board Certification (FNP-BC) and holds a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from St. John Fisher College. Her doctoral research focused on the management of side effects from long-acting reversible contraceptives. She has been a dedicated women's health nurse and advocate for many years: Julia has worked as an RN in Highland Hospital's Family Maternity Center as a postpartum nurse, an outpatient triage nurse at Highland Woman's Health, and participated in Reproductive Rights advocacy work while studying for her BA in Psychology at the University of Rochester and BS in Nursing at the University of Rochester's APNN program. She is passionate about providing high-quality reproductive health care, with particular interests in contraception, sex education, and obstetric care.
