She treats adults of all ages with primary brain tumors and has a special interest in the care of older adult patients who face added challenges and vulnerabilities in their oncologic care. She also cares for patients with systemic cancers metastatic to the nervous system, patients with leptomeningeal spread of their cancer, and neurological complications of cancer and cancer treatments.
Dr. Eszes provides comprehensive neurologic assessment with a focus on cognition as part of the geriatric oncology clinic at Highland Hospital. Together with the expert geriatric oncologists on the team, she works to ensure older adults with cognitive concerns facing cancer treatment receive optimal cancer treatment, supportive care, and connection to resources in their communities to best support them in their oncologic care.
