Dr. Huang received her medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 2006. She completed her internal medicine residency and chief resident training at the University of Colorado (2006-2010). She moved on to the cardiology fellowship in general cardiology and translational...
Dr. Huang received her medical degree from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 2006. She completed her internal medicine residency and chief resident training at the University of Colorado (2006-2010). She moved on to the cardiology fellowship in general cardiology and translational research under a T-32 grant at the University of Colorado (2010-2014).
She went on to work as a general cardiologist in the UCHealth Medical Group Memorial Hospital System in Colorado Springs where she developed a shared-LVAD cares program and a heart failure management program. After launching the heart failure program, she was accepted to the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant program at University of Colorado and returned for an additional year of fellowship training (2021-2022).
After the advanced training program, she moved to the Heart Hospital of Austin joining the advanced heart failure and mechanical circulatory practice at Austin Heart: Cardiology and Cardiology Specialists (2022-2024) before accepting a position at the University of Rochester (2024).
