Education and Training
Dr. Burns is board-certified in family medicine and osteopathic manipulative medicine. He
earned his degree in osteopathic medicine (DO) with a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Philosophy
Through expert lifestyle counseling and hands-on manipulation, Dr. Burns helps patients optimize their bodies so they can prevent and reverse chronic conditions.

Special Interests
Primary care, lifestyle medicine, chronic disease reversal through nutrition, deprescribing, osteopathic manipulative medicine, pediatrics, disadvantaged populations, and public health.

Personal Interests
Dr. Burns helps run a non-profit organization that expands nutrition education in medical school so that the next generation of doctors will be equipped to tackle chronic diseases. He enjoys playing soccer and jazz piano.
