Prior to joining UR Medicine, he served as Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Illinois and Washington University School of Medicine. Most recently, he held the position of Cardiothoracic Surgeon at Mercy Springfield Hospital. He serves as Council on Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery of the American Heart Association, and is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Surgeons and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
