About Me
His research interests include the approach to and management of cardiogenic shock with numerous peer-reviewed journal articles in this clinical space. Additionally, he serves as reviewer for several peer-reviewed journals: Cardiovascular Translational Research, Cardiovascular Revascularization Medicine and US Cardiology Review. Dr. Hirst is an invited faculty speaker for Cardiovascular Research Foundation Technology and Heart Failure Therapeutics and Cardiovascular Innovations. He joins the University of Rochester academic faculty as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and his clinical role as Associate Director of the Acute Shock and ECMO programs.
