Neurology

Biography

I am a seasoned clinician in general neurology with special interests in movement disorders (fellowship trained), headache, stroke, vagal nerve stimulation for epilepsy, neurologic complications of bariatric surgery and celiac disease. Prior to returning to the University of Rochester, I was in private practice in the Finger Lakes region for over 13 years. I am currently the Chief of Highland Neurology where I have a variety of clinical, administrative and teaching responsibilities. Often I will see patients with a combination of medical students, nurse practitioners or residents. I have wonderful colleagues at Highland Neurology including Paul Twydell who is a neuromuscular specialist, Dr. Leslie Lee who is interested in general neurology and epilepsy, and Dr. Yurcheshen who is a sleep specialist seeing general neurology patients in the Highland Neurology Office.
