Biography

Victoria Howard completed a BS in Cell and Developmental Biology at the University of Rochester. she has always had an interest in medicine and decided to pursue this passion by attending Duquesne University's Physician Assistant program in Pittsburgh, PA. She graduated in 2007 with a Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Since that time she has worked in several fields across the country including Pain Management, Internal Medicine and as a Hospitalist PA in Pennsylvania, California and Massachusetts. She relocated back to Rochester, NY and began working full time with the URMC Gastroenterology and Hepatology department in January 2015. She continues to enjoy working with all facets of GI and Hepatology but has developed special interest in the areas of GI motility and endoscopic therapies for obesity.

She continues to enjoy her choice to pursue a career in medicine where she is able to interact with people in many different environments. She feels privileged to be a member of the University of Rochester's prestigious health care network and enjoys working with patient's to discover the source of and treat their medical problems.
