Dr. Anna Barbi received her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2012. She was a member of Sigma Phi and Psi Sigma Alpha National Osteopathic Scholastic Honor Societies, graduating in the top 15% of her class. In 2016, she completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, NY. During her fourth year, she served as Administration Chief, and received the Frederick Silverman Award for academic excellence. Prior to medical school, Dr. Barbi worked as a clinical researcher at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Hospital in New York, NY, where she was involved in clinical trials for the treatment of solid tumor malignancies. Her later research focused on melanoma of the genitourinary tract. Dr. Barbi joined WGCA in July 2016 and became a partner physician in 2018. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, becoming board certified in 2019.
