About Me

Dr. Scofield received his medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1991. He then completed a residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Rochester in 1995. Prior to pursuing a career as a physician, Dr. Scofield was a special education teacher for...
Dr. Scofield received his medical degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1991. He then completed a residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Rochester in 1995. Prior to pursuing a career as a physician, Dr. Scofield was a special education teacher for infants and preschool children. His dedication to this field continues with his special interest in children with developmental disabilities and attention-deficit disorder.

Dr. Scofield is the Medical Director of the Culver Medical Group and is an Assistant Professor in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Rochester. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and is a member of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

"Open communication is the key to establishing relationships with my patients" states Dr. Scofield. He considers himself a good listener and believes a building a partnership with his patients in achieving good health produces the best long-term results. He enjoys his spare time with his wife and daughter. He loves sports including golf and tennis and is also a music fan.
