Biography

Dr. Garringer provides cardiology services for patients in the Finger Lakes area of upstate New York through Finger Lakes Cardiology Associates. Dr. Garringer's medical practice includes general cardiology care, cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and stent placement. He sees patients in the Finger Lakes Cardiology office in Clifton Springs and performs his cardiac catheterizations at Strong Memorial Hospital. He cares for hospitalized patients at Clifton Springs Hospital and Clinic and F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology.

Professional Background

Dr. Garringer earned his medical degree from Wayne State in Detroit. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Michigan State University. He completed his Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology fellowships at Strong Memorial Hospital. He joined the faculty in 2003.
