Celeste Song, MD, MS, was born in Northeastern Louisiana, attended college at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama, then migrated north for medical school at the University of Rochester. She then did her residency at the Tufts/Cambridge Health Alliance Family Medicine Residency, where she developed her interests in evidence-based medicine and medical education. After residency, it was back to Rochester for a Faculty Development Fellowship through the Department of Family Medicine, and Master's of Health Professions Education through the UR's Warner School. She now practices primary care at Highland Family Medicine, teaches in the UR Family Medicine Residency, and coordinates an elective program at the UR School of Medicine and Dentistry. Outside interests include vegetable/flower gardening, cooking, and spending time with family: husband, son, and miniature dachshund Beowulf.
