Dr. Aloisio is a Board-Certified Emergency Physician and Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine. He has worked at the University of Rochester since 2011 and is currently a Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians.

He studied Biomedical Sciences at the University at Buffalo and graduated with honors in 2007. He obtained his MD from Michigan State University in 2011 and completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Rochester in 2014. In 2020, he earned his MBA from the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester.

He is passionate about caring for the elderly. He primarily practices at Highland Hospital, a regional pioneer when it comes to Geriatric Emergency Care. Dr. Aloisio is proud to have been a part of the team that helped Highland become the first hospital in Upstate New York to earn Geriatric Emergency Department Accreditation from the American College of Emergency Physicians. In 2018, he was awarded the prestigious Geriatric Faculty Scholars Grant, which he utilized to implement Geriatric-focused training for Highland Hospital's Emergency Department provider team.

He also has a special interest in the One Health approach to addressing global human health, animal health, and environmental health. He is honored to have collaborated with Rochester's Seneca Park Zoo in support of their international conservation initiatives. In 2013, he journeyed to Borneo, Indonesia to work and teach at an isolated clinic in a remote rainforest community - a community which endeavors to protect a rainforest that is habitat to some of the world's last remaining wild orangutans. He has also volunteered on humanitarian and medical service trips to earthquake-stricken Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and to faraway Quechua communities high up in the Andes Mountains of Peru.

He was recently elected by his peers to the Faculty Senate of the University of Rochester and is currently serving a three-year term. The 45-member Senate functions as a channel of communication between Faculty and University leadership.
