Biography

Professional Background

Dr. Aloisio attended the State University of New York at Buffalo and graduated from the Honors Program with Magna Cum Laude distinction in 2007. He earned his MD from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in 2011. Dr. Aloisio completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center in 2014. He is currently working on his MBA at the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester; graduation anticipated in 2020.

He is a Board-Certified Emergency Physician and Assistant Professor of Clinical Emergency Medicine at the University of Rochester. He primarily attends and teaches at Highland Hospital, but also serves at other regional facilities within the University of Rochester healthcare system.

He has a special interest in Global Health. He works with Rochester's Seneca Park Zoo in support of their international conservation initiatives and has traveled to Borneo, Indonesia where he served and taught at a remote and isolated clinic there.

He is also passionate about Health Education and Geriatric Medicine. He was recognized as the Best Faculty Discussant at the CORD National Emergency Medicine Clinical Pathologic Case Final Competition in Washington, DC in 2017. In 2018, he was awarded the prestigious Geriatric Faculty Scholars Grant and continues to serve as a champion of Geriatric care at Highland Hospital.
