Dr. Chris Calnon is a native of Rochester, NY. Following graduation from the Aquinas Institute, he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from SUNY Geneseo and then his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. He went on to complete a General Practice Residency at Strong Memorial Hospital at the University of Rochester.
Following completion of his Residency program, Dr. Calnon joined the practice of Calnon & Cilano, DDS, PC. He has also elected to remain active in education and is the Acting Clinical Site Director as well as a Senior Clinical Instructor of Dentistry at Eastman Dental at Highland Hospital. In addition to his clinical responsibilities, Dr. Calnon is involved with organized dentistry, currently serving as President of the Monroe County Dental Society.
Dr. Calnon attends multiple continuing education courses on both local and national levels. His particular areas of interest are technological advances in dentistry and the benefit this provides to patient care.
Dr. Calnon and his wife Jennifer, also a dentist, have two children, Erin and Ryan.
