Katie earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees in nursing at St. John Fisher College. Prior to her work as a family nurse practitioner, she spent the majority of her 8 year nursing career in the surgical ICU here at Strong. Since completing her graduate work in 2015, she has worked at Highland Family Medicine. Born and raised in Rochester, she is passionate about serving the community in which she lives and is thrilled to be joining the lactation medicine team. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking and eating good food, being outdoors, and traveling.
