Biography

Dr. Hartman received his medical degree from Drexel University and completed his residency in Family and Community Medicine at Penn State Medical Center. He previously worked for the National Health Service Corps in Chicago, where he completed advanced training in women's health and HIV treatment and prevention.

Dr. Hartman believes in partnering with his patients and their families to create an individualized environment of care consistent with each person's values. He views himself as an advocate for patients' needs and as their link to the wider healthcare community. He also subscribes to the idea of the Mother Friendly Childbirth Initiative and the WHO Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative.

On a personal note, Dr. Hartman enjoys spending time with his family, travel, outdoor activities and learning about other cultures. He is also fluent in Spanish and French.

Dr. Hartman is accepting pediatric and obstetric patients only.
