Dr. William Barbosa is a Neurologist who specializes in Movement Disorders. He completed his undergraduate studies at Brown University and obtained his medical degree at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. He completed his Neurology residency at the University of Rochester and was awarded the Edmond J. Safra Fellowship in Movement Disorders through the Michael J. Fox Foundation. As a clinician-researcher his interests include the characterization of prodromal Parkinson's disease and the application of diagnostic biomarkers to guide research trial design and support advances in treatment. Additionally, having been born in Puerto Rico he remains committed to giving back to his community and he helps lead a Spanish-language Neurology Clinic.
