Dr. Smilnak completed his undergraduate studies at The University of Scranton. After college, he completed a year of service as a Franciscan volunteer in Syracuse. Dr. Smilnak completed his undergraduate studies at The University of Scranton. After college, he completed a year of service as a Franciscan volunteer in Syracuse. He then attended SUNY Upstate Medical University for his MD and MPH degrees. He trained as a resident and served as Chief Resident at Highland Hospital / University of Rochester Medical Center. Dr. Smilnak cares for patients in both the primary care and hospital settings.
