I obtained my undergraduate education at Florida State University, where he pursued research centered on biochemical engineering and therapeutic synergies. This led me to New York City where I worked at Rockefeller University in the Department of Genetically Encoded Small Molecules. I then pivoted from primarily research into medicine. I attended medical school at the State University of New York at Buffalo, completing a combined MD/MBA program. I then moved to Rochester for my residency at the University of Rochester Medical Center, where I am a hospitalist. I have special interest in the quality improvement, health systems management and healthcare delivery. I am also the ACMIO for Data and Analytics. I strive to utilize health informatics within the realm of medical education as well as operations efficiency. I sit on the institution wide panel for clinical decision support approval and review. I am also an active participant in the digital health innovation incubator at URMC called the Health Lab, with current projects involving data analytics, visualization, and utilization.
