As an ICU physician, I take care of patients in the medical ICU at Strong Memorial Hospital and FF Thompson Hospital. I also have a general pulmonary outpatient clinic at the Mary Parkes Center for Asthma, Allergy & Pulmonary Care.

My academic interests include medical education specifically using learning-centered educational techniques to improve learning outcomes as well as learner engagement.

I then obtained my Medical Degree from Temple University in Philadelphia and did my Internal Medicine residency at Indiana University. Following my time at IU, I completed my fellowship ...
I grew up in Pittsburgh and remained there through college, completing my BS in Biology at Duquesne University. I then obtained my Medical Degree from Temple University in Philadelphia and did my Internal Medicine residency at Indiana University. Following my time at IU, I completed my fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Wake Forest University in North Carolina.

Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Rochester, I served as an Assistant Professor at Wake Forest University where I attended on the medical ICU wards and provided inpatient and outpatient pulmonary care and consultation.
