Biography

Dr. Ojo is a member of the electrophysiology section, and he takes care of patients with arrhythmias. Specific areas of expertise include ablation of atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardias (SVT), and ventricular tachycardia. Dr. Ojo is an expert in complete management of pacemakers, defibrillators, and resynchronization devices. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease and is board eligible in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology

Professional Background

Dr. Ojo earned his M.D. from Rostov State Medical University in Russia in 2006. He was a medical resident at Rochester General Hospital, and trained as a cardiology fellow at New York Medical College at Westchester Medical Center and as an electrophysiology fellow at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He joined the faculty at the University of Rochester Medical Center in 2020.
