About Me
Her research interests include glaucoma clinical trials, and she is active in promoting minority participation in medical careers and improving access to eye care for underserved populations. Dr. Allison takes a team approach to care, working with well eye care providers and primary care offices to preserve patient vision. As a glaucoma and anterior segment specialist, she provides the following treatments:

I think this Dr is very smart and good at what she does. I do think that maybe she is missing a step with making sure patients understand what she is talking about when it comes to their diagnosis. There was confusion with mine in the beginning and I don't feel it was explained well at first

There seems to be no interest in providing information to the patient. I take a field of vision test, come back to the doctor and she says "that's all, see you next time." There is no time spent explaining to me the test results or asking if I have any questions.

There were two doctors involved and neither demonstrated outstanding interpersonal skill. I was left in a room for extended periods of time and neither addressed why that had happened. Cursory is the most descriptive word that comes to mind.

I like Dr Allison a lot and feel she has been very diligent in staying on top of my eye care. [...] She had 2 people with her (med students or residents?) - I was not I introduced and should have been asked ahead of time if it was ok for them to come in . She seemed distracted with them in the room which is understandable to a degree. Again frustrating. I am an RN and have worked in an office so know how it all should go. Dr. Allison told me she was scheduling me for surgery-never explained the procedure or any of the risks, down time etc...Dr. Allison said she was calling in a prescription for me two days ago and it was never called in. I messaged her through my chart to make her aware and have not heard anything back and still don't have my prescription. Very poor quality of care.
