Dr. Kang is an experienced optometrist who provides comprehensive eye care with emphasis on ocular disease, low vision, and co-management with ophthalmology subspecialists. Prior to joining the faculty, she was in private practice at the Virginia Eye Institute, a multi-specialty ophthalmology and optometry practice located in the Richmond Metropolitan Area. She enjoys seeing a wide range of patients, from school-aged children to seniors.

She then completed her optometry training at the New England College of Optometry, after which she completed an optometry residency in primary care and low vision therapy at Northport Veterans Affairs Medical Center.
