RENEW exercise program

  • Comprehensive physical function evaluation
    • Vitals: Height, weight, resting pulse and blood pressure
    • Body Composition: Bioelectrical impredance, waist to hip ratio
    • Flexibility: Sit and reach
    • Muscular Strength: Grip strength, strength assesment
    • Balance: Short physical performance battery measures
    • Cardiovascular: 6 minute walk, cycle or  treadmill test
  • Exercise consultation and exercise prescription by an ACSM Cancer Exercise Trainer
  • Twelve-Supervised, small group exercise sessions with ACSM certified Cancer Exercise Trainer (60 minutes/session)
  • Follow-up comprehensive physical function evaluation
  • Community recommendation for physical activity programming for cancer survivors
